Hi Experts,

General Question :
If a candidate is eligible for CEC as well as FSW we have seen he will get invitation in FSW category.... Can you please suggest what changes we can do in our EE profile so that we get invite in CEC category.

Case specific Question : :
I have applied for OOPNP and opted to be accessed on CEC category as i was eligible for both CEC and FSW. I am hopeful that i will get nominated (like everyone ;D ). So once we receive the nomination we will definitely get invitation in next draw. Can I change anything in my EE profile after receiving nomination so that i will get invite in CEC category...

Suggestions Please ....

Put funds ZERO
Select NO for valid job offer

That's it

Hi Manidhatt -- thanks for reply but as of now (i mean while applying for OOPNP i mentioned that i have sufficient fund [bank statement] and i have a job here (my current job) if i will change it after getting nomination will there be any issue ??

@ All - If you had been in this situation please share your thoughts and what you have done in your case .... I know there are many as this topic was coming in the forum very frequently so i thought to start a new topic so that all the information will be at one place .....

It shouldn't really matter because PNP will give you 600 points only n won't restrict you for FSW or CEC only.

Rest wait for others advice on this as I could be wrong too

Thanks ...lets see what others has to say ....

"no" to ECA if you have foreign education since you have PNP.

Hi Cindy -- for ECA i already submitted the WES certificate and that's how I got some additional point to reach crs 440 ... should we remove this information afterwards ?? is it advisable ??

Don't do it. Just put NO for Full time job offer and zero for funds.
I did mine and it worked now I'm eligible for CEC only

If you have PNP, you can do that. My husband got invited with LIMA under CEC without ECA (even though he had it done with wes). Our lawyer put the POF of $15000 on the application ,and uploaded the offer of employment since he is a LIMA holder. He got his COPR.
Since you already provided POF for your PNP, I agree with you that you should not say "no" to POF question on your EE profile once you get your PNP.

I agree with you that if he wants to get invited under CEC now, he should include his ECA and put zero for fund. Since he has no Lima, he will answer "no" to job offer anyway.

I really do think each individual case is different. I'm not disputing how yours worked out but, I put yes to job offer (have LMIA) and yes to funds $20,000+ for 2 applicants, NO to ECA (assessed but not used) and was invited under CEC only. Never Eligible for FSW. I'm wondering is it because people are using ECA for additional points, this is the reason you meet FSW aswell as CEC?

Have you guys added you non-canadian work experience in your EE profile ... i have around 8 years of Non-Canadian work ex and 2 years of Canadian work ex. what if i remove the non Canadian work ex from my profile ?? did anyone tried that ?? just thinking ...

@Asivad Anac, @heeroo man - Your expert advise please ??
