Inland - When I apply for OWP, do I need to show proof of ties with home country?

Hi,

As per title, when I apply for OWP once I receive the AOR for my inland spousal application, do I need to show proof of ties with my home country?

Also, let's say I will apply for both OWP and visitor record, just in case they reject one of the 2 applications, would having the 2nd application ongoing keep me on maintained status?

Or, if I apply for OWP and it is rejected (say I forget to sign a document or something silly like that), would I have a grace period of a few days to apply for visitor record then, or would have no other options than leaving the country?

Why are you tormenting yourself with so many redundant questions?!?!

Why are you expecting your OWP to be denied? Focus on it being approved, because once you get AOR for your Inland sponsorship application it's all you NEED for the OWP to be approved. Geez!

So I don't need to show proof of ties to my home country for the OWP then? Because unfortunately it seems to me I will struggle to show ties even if in reality I would never stay in Canada if they were to refuse my spousal application..

NO! Does it ask you anywhere to show ties to your home country? Didn't think so. ;)

Again...the most important part of your question is this:
"...once I receive the AOR for my inland spousal application..."
