Your lucky you got your aor before they visited you.. they came to me before my aor so i didnt have time to renew my passport. If they visited me after aor i have time to renew my passport in my embassy i will show to them i have an application already. Is your passport still valid?

Oh thats good you have a valid pssport. How long you out of status?because mine since 2015 my passport expired 2017 thats why i have lots of stress
Entered aug 17' on 6 month visitor from US, just applied july 30th 2019. So roughly 8 months out of status.

Update! I got email today my confirmation of permanent resident at last on oct 22.. thanks God
Congrats Keepfaith09!! I have an update as well! So as I said wed the 9th I had interview, came home and an hour later received email stating that Immigration was being prioritized for me and that the exclusion order I signed would be delayed for 60 days (I declined prra).
This morning I received email stating that my wife could sponser me (is this AIP?) and then 5 mins later received request for medical and then 5 mins later received email from the cbsa that my application had passed a critical stage and that I was no longer in jeopardy of being kicked out for a year! So to say I'm overjoyed is an understatement...
But if the email that my wife can sponsor me is AIP then I can apply for owp now right??

Your application is progressing nicely!. Thats sounds good!.thats sponsor approved you have to wait after medical to to received aip i guess
