Inland spouse sponsorship - FBI clearance

Does anyone know what is the current waiting time for FBI clearance when ordered from inside Canada?

Is it common to send an application without the certificate in hand, and send the certificate later, after the first step (review of sponsor and applicant) is completed?

go here... current processing time is 28 days, not including mail. i've read other people say they have had the FBI mail it to a canadian address. Are you a US citizen planning to apply inland? just an FYI... it's normally NOT recommended for US citzens to apply inland.

It comes back to your address within 4-5 weeks...thats how long it took to get mine...I applied from within Canada


U Dont have to include it initially...but you can write a note that you applied for it and will be submitting it when it arrives...and then submit it once you get your UCI...so they can add it to your application...OR you can wait if you choose
