Me and my husband are looking at moving back to Canada in a few months. I have Canadian PR but my husband doesn't.

I've read that he can come over on a visitor visa and apply inland rather than outland does he get implied status as soon as he puts in PR application? Or does he have to apply for a OWP under the pilot program?

We were originally just send me over and him come over once we get sponsorship approval for an outland application but I would prefer to have my husband with me if possible.

Any helpful links or guides would be well appreciated.

Thanks

He can apply outland while he is in Canada. That is also an option.

Sending in a PR application does not give you implied status. You must also submit an OWP with your inland application. Applying to extend your status as a visitor is possible with an outland application.
