Hello Guys,
New to this forum. My husband is a Canadian citizen and I am an Australian citizen. I arrived to Canada on eTA and we got married here. We applied for my PR and OWP on June 2019 and received AOR on Aug 8th. We have applied from the Mississauga office in Ontario. Anyone know how long till we receive an update on a WP from here? Ta

You should receive it in October.

Did you receive any response to your OWP or PR?

My husband is a PR here and I too applied for my OWP and PR in June 2019. However, I received my OWP approval for 2 years.

I received my OWP in Oct 2019. And SA in Jan. My file was transfered to Etobicoke in Feb. Nothing after that.

Ok... I was told by my lawyer the reason I got OWP for 2 years is because there could be a slowdown in the processing of spousal applications...

generally OWP is granted for 1 year i guess.
