For anyone out there that has completed an inland spousal sponsorship interview can you gather here and tell me what to expect. I got an email today about an interview I have to attend with my spouse in a few days and I want to us to be as prepared as we can possibly be. Thanks in advance.

In `the old days', all Inland landings constituted a pseudo interview. The PA and the sponsor had to attend together and it was not uncommon for questions to be asked.
Having said that, it was usually a quick process.

Good luck!

The email we got said it’ll be three hours for the interview. Both of us will be interviewed separately at the same time in separate rooms.

Hey, my interview was cancelled so we didn’t attend. IRCC called me a few days before to tell me my spouse and I didn’t need to attend anymore.
did they asked you to support additional document? Also where is your file being processed?

I am an inland applicant, I was given a PFL then two days later interview request, once I responded to the PFL and interview time was coming up IRCC called to say they’re satisfied with my response so they’ll cancel my interview it wasn’t needed anymore.

how did you respond to the PFL? seems like you wrote a very good one. Also what happened after that?

What did they ask for in the PFL? It's good for you that they are satisfied with your response!

to be honest i got two PFL’s during this application, I know that’s very much unheard of but my case was and is so complexed. both times my lawyer responded for me, I could’ve done it myself but I wanted to get it in properly, after the second PFL I got an interview request, once the respond was submitted the officer called me two days later to inform me she’s satisfied with my response and she’ll cancel the interview and then she sent me AIP email same day.

In my first PFL I they asked for a lot and I mean a lot, to name a few they asked for 3 years back t4’s from CRA, some other CRA document that was very detailed, they asked for bills, accounts, insurance plans, landlord reference letter….. I don’t remember all. then the second one they mentioned a CBSA officer went out to look for me but I wasn’t at the address listed so they don’t believe I live with my spouse and they said the relationship wasn’t genuine…. they had my address wrong because I’ve never gave them that address on any paperwork, they mentioned a few other things I dnt quite remember but my lawyer and I submitted a bunch of documents and proof of our relationship and that we never gave that address and then the officer called to say she understands and gave me AIP.

edit: the second PFL came with an interview for both applicants, after we sent in PFL our response was satisfied so officer cancelled interview.

Wow, it's like they didn't believe you existed!
