I am the principal applicant, and submitted the application package in May 2nd. It's going to be 8 weeks on two days. No news on my end. How long has been taking to receive the letter of acknowledgement this year? Can I call someone to have more information about this? I try to call the IRCC call center but it's impossible to get someone on the phone. The automated system requires a case number to access my file, which I don't have yet. Any advice?

My package was received May 3rd at the Mississauga location and I am still waiting for AOR

The wait times for AOR have increased to 6-8 weeks. Nothing you can do but wait and be patient. Have you got confirmation that the application was delivered?
 
Hello everyone, my application was submitted and received by the Mississauga office on May 14. I am still patiently waiting for my AOR. I get really nervous as time goes by, as it will be 8 weeks in couple days. What do we do if it exceeded 8 weeks for an AOR?

Wait some more. Apparently wait times for AOR have recently increased.

APP: Dec 22 2018
AOR: Feb 22 2019
MR: Feb 27 2019
MC: Mar 1st 2019
MP: Mar 13th 2019
BGC started: June 19th completed and passed security check/ criminal check ( waiting).

It takes a little time
