Im applying inland, but i have a question now. I just returned to Canada after like 2 years, so I have no T4 for the last years, and im currently unemployed as i have a baby to take care of, and im studying at university. Can i still sponsor my husband? And if so, what and how do i show all the incomes and t4's ?

Im supporting myself through savings of $10,000 and i receive monthly interest from bank of $600 every month. I've got about $25,000 saved in banks abroad that is in joint accounts with my hubby... I receive monthly profits on it.. which is currently enough for me until im ready to go back to work. Will that be ok if i show that in my application?

You don't have to be employed to sponsor him. Show the proof of your savings and investment income to show how you plan to meet your short to medium term expenses and fulfill your responsibilities as a sponsor.

My spouse is sponsoring me.
He hasn't worked for 5 years.
He recently scored a minimum wage job. We figured it's better than nothing and may make our application stronger since we don't have a lot of savings.
Luckily, when you are sponsoring your spouse, you don't need a job unless they have dependants.
For him, we have written down a 5 year history showing how he has supported himself over the last 5 years. He only started working a month ago so he has no T4 etc either. He called the Canadian inland revenue and they are going to send him some forms. He will have to fill them and send them off and that will put him up to date tax wise. So, whatever we get back from them is what we will send.
If I were you, I would show:
- bank statements of savings
- a written statement of where you got those savings from
- a written statement of what type of work you intend to do when you are ready to work

Hope that helps.
