Inland PR - Valid work permit but expired visa, does it matter?

Hello everyone,

We are about to submit my wife's inland PR application next week. Her work permit is valid until end of 2014 but her entry visa expires in 2 weeks. Does this matter for the PR application?!

No it does not matter. You only need a valid Visa if you are planning to travel outside Canada. Also does your wife have a closed or open permit? Just wondering if you knew that you can send in an application for open work permit with the PR application. If she doesn't have an open permit yet.
They will process the open work permit application when your pr application passes the stage one. (Approval in principle.)So in 6-8 months.
If you do not need it carry on. Lol.

yes she has a closed work permit and we are planning on including the papers for the open work permit with the PR app.
