I have read in a lot of threads here that regarding photos, and some thread says the back of the photos are blank, some said they signed theirs, some said the photographer stamped the date on it.... could I get a clear answer regarding Inland photos specs?

according to the below link, it says nothing about the back of the photo...
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5289EC.asp

also does the photo for the orignal application and the ones for medical have to be the same ones?

last question if we are married, and sending in photographs of our ceremony/trips do we have to write anything on the back of the photo? like date/place? or does it matter?

thanks for the help!!

i agree with canadian goose: write events, dates(month/year is ok) and name of people appearing behind each relationship/wedding photo and also in my case i used the photographs of the medical checks for the application (i had 5 more but i enclosed 2) and i wrote behind name, d.o.b, eyes colour, height. the guy at the clinic had stamped the photo with the date and i left it there

Appendix C has the specs for the photos but the INLAND GUIDE gives the specific instructions... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5289E15.asp

Photo instructions

Two photos of you and each of your dependent children in Canada are required with your application. Immigration photos are not the same as passport photographs. There are specific requirements that must be followed (Refer to Appendix C Photo Specifications). Give Appendix C to the photographer when having your photos taken.

Follow these instructions when placing the photographs with your application:

* On the back of each photo, write the name, date of birth, height and eye colour of the person in the photograph.
* Insert the photographs in a separate envelope and
* Staple the envelope to your Application for Permanent Residence (IMM 5002)
* Ensure that the staples do not puncture the photos.

I cannot stress enough how important it is to read the whole guide before starting this.

Good luck.
