Inland OWP while waiting for my PCC

I want to apply for OWP while my PCC is in process. My Spouse has PR and I came as a visitor and currently living with my spouse in Canada. I am waiting for my PCC to apply for PR. Will it be possible to get OWP for me without applying for PR?

Thanks in advance

You will need to submit an Inland sponsorship (SCPLC) first, then wait until you receive the AOR email from IRCC. Once you receive that all important email, you would then be eligible to apply for the OWP.
