Hi all,
I'm an OINP nominee, applying from Inside Canada.

MY Permanent residence application sent to the Centralized Intake Office, Sydney, NS: 2015-11-10
AOR: 2016-02-12
RPRF: 2016-06-19
MR: still waiting

I am thinking to go for upfront medicals.

What is your opinion?

I have been researching about the same thing myself. From what i have seen a few of the forum members have gone for it and they say that its beneficial. It saves around a month of your application time. The only downside would be if cic takes longer to process your application then the medical would expire and you will have to go for a new one. The chances are unlikey tho. I personally would recommend doing medicals after 6 months after your application was received by cic. The later you do the medicals the better because then you have more chances of it not expiring by the time for your landing. Do you own research on the forum before you decide to do it. There is tons of information here
