Hi All,

I’m November 2019 applicant, I was wondering how fast Vancouver office is scheduling applicant. I got my DM two weeks ago and I’m tired of waiting especially seeing other provinces doing well.
Vancouver is 2+ months behind. So you have at least another month and a half of waiting.

People getting their interviews now have been waiting 2 months. So you have a little while yet

I waited for about 10 weeks after DM...good luck my friend I hope they are processing faster recently

Hi guys, I finished my landing today! The officer was super nice, and the questions were super easy. She kindly asked me about the date of my first entry to Canada ( it was years ago so it took me a while to remember...), last time to enter Canada, marriage status, criminal history, etc., and congratulated me within 5 minutes! She also said that a PR card should arrive in mail within a month, so that is way faster than I ever thought!

Good luck everyone and thank you all for sharing your experience on this forum :D You've all been extremely helpful.

Called them this morning at 7:55 using the 1 1 2 3 1 0 formula shared here. 45 mins later and the agent told me she can only give Vancouver office notice that I cannot make it to the interview but that I have to wait for the Vancouver office to get back to me with another date...
Just an update for future reference of people on this forum. Got a disappointing message from Vancouver office today that confirms my appointment was cancelled (on my request for rescheduling) but didn't provide any new appointment time. It says if we didn't contact you by end of the June, send us a reminder... How hard is to look up the next available time in their Calendar?? Cursing my luck with all this at the moment...

That's disappointing. They should surely have a protocol for rescheduling appointments because it must be a pretty common request.

Hi All..I am joining this thread today…

Really appreciate any thoughts, experience and advice here.

I just called up CIC today and got a surprise when CIC agent told me that my file is approved on Apr 30 only (when status changed to IP2), He said that my file was processed in Montreal and now shifted to Vancouver office for landing. Post approval, there is waiting time of 3 months at Vancouver office due to heavy backlog.

Can somebody on this forum have any clue and advise what could be the reason that my file shifted to Vancouver office for landing after approval as I have not received any approval email or ghost update post IP2. The system still shows IP2.

Is there any email which I will receive confirming that all stages are passed and there is going to be a landing interview? Moreover, Is there any way to expedite this process for landing?

My Details: AOR Dec 21, 2018, Medicals Passed: Feb 4, 2019, IP2: Apr 30, 2018: BCPNP Inland Applicant.

Thank you Buddy for your response.

What was the exact date when your file got approved? And did you get any approval email or letter from CIC informing you that your file has been approved on specific date in April.

15 april approval date
I got this information over phone with ircc agent
But received no email regarding approval.
What about you?

30th April Approval Date...Same here..I got to know approval date and Vancouver office landing from IRCC agent over phone.
No email or status update....That is worrying part because a new wait in new queue has started now....and moreover Vancouver office is infamous for its delay due to heavy back log....

So true
Now its really hard to wait for more time
Most of the inland applicants got email after two n half months since their approval date from
Vancouver office
Hope for the best

As of this day, I am a PR of Canada, officially! Nothing can stop me now!
