You were told the processing time for the entire process would be 12 months. Vancouver is a busy city for everything. Thought you'd know that.

Anyway, a few folks in the Facebook group who got their DM emails on March 15th received their invitations today
I am an Express Entry applicant, I was told it would be done in 6 months. At this rate, it will be 6 months for processing, 4 months for waiting for an appointment at the Vancouver office, which is ridiculous!

I am waiting here too for interview appointment
Hope they will contact soon

Landed today at the Vancouver office, yay!

Arrived at 915am for my 930am appointment. It was SUPER crowded (and the space is pretty tiny). Waited for over an hour.

Actual interview was a breeze. Passport, photo, have I ever committed a crime?, have I ever been asked to leave Canada?, you know the drill by now :D.

Was not asked for proof of payment. I paid every fee before submitting, FYI.

Verified the info on the COPR. They made a mistake on my original entry date. Was immediately corrected.

After 5min total I was a PR.

Then went to Service Canada for my SIN. Waited another 90 minutes. A group of about 20 young Irish folks on, I assume, working holiday visas showed up just before me.

But what's another few hours after a year of waiting? Really relieved it's over now!

I suppose this may go on which particular person has your application at the office. And maybe some are ahead of others because some March 29th DMs got their invitations and a day later March 15th DMs are still getting theirs

Hi, Finally landed at Vancouver office on May 25th and became a Permanent Resident, they said that instructions for my spouse(in India) visa will be emailed to me within a week(cannot believe). Did anyone has same situation? I'm worried about how long it will take to get email.

Landed at the Vancouver office. I arrived for an 8:30 appointment, but I wasn't seen until around 9:30 or 9:40. The actual meeting itself was super simple and quick, though!

So glad this is all over. I hope you all get your meetings soon.

I wonder what is your Application and DM date?
When did you receive invitation?

I thought for express entry you can do landing in the border.

If they send CoPR. For that, they ask for the passport. For a lot of inlands (especially if you live in an area close to a landing office), they don't give that option (they don't ask for a passport even if you beg), otherwise I would be happy to land at the border.

Interesting to see that when I did my landing at 10 last Friday it was quite empty. I think the IRCC scheduled the appointments evenly... Was it because a lot of refugee claimants were there at 9AM waiting for the door to open?
