How about having applied for PR on July 23rd 2015, having another application in since Sept 4th for a OWP and being 6 month pregnant with a provincial health care coverage (ALBERTA) expiring at the end of the month with no chance of a second extension?!?!? Oh, and no chance to get a private health insurance..

What am I supposed to do, come back home and waiting?? Maybe delivering there?? :'(

Why would you want to deliver a baby without any permanent status in the country..Its always a risk. Just my opinion. You still have 3 months to go so you will get it by then hopefully

cec, pnp and fsw outland people are getting. so there is a backlog for just fsw inland. which keeps on adding as they are doing new draw almost every 2 weeks.

Actually, FSW outland processed in Ottawa is in same situation as FSW inland. Only local VOs are faster.

PNP / USA applicants are also in the same stage.

Sad sad sad :( :( >:(

I received an email from immigration this morning and my heart stopped for a second hoping it was PR related...but no such luck....it was an email about eTA and visa-exempt foreign nationals...anyone else got this??

"A message from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada

Beginning March 15, 2016, visa-exempt foreign nationals will require an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) to fly to Canada. U.S. citizens are exempt from the eTA requirement.

If your study or work permit was issued on or before July 31, 2015, you will need to apply for an eTA if you wish to enter or return to Canada by air on or after March 15, 2016.

If you received your study or work permit on or after August 1, 2015, you were automatically issued an eTA with your study or work permit."

I guess they send it only to visa-exempt foreign nationals.

Not entirely true for outland fsw and pnp. Only a few lucky applicants with cases in certain outland visa offices have seen rather quick app processing. But these are exceptional cases rather than the norm. Most of applicants from July onwards are still stuck
