thats true.... it doesnt mean you are getting DM.... but it depends what they have written in your req letter. it indicates something.

also all emails are not for DM. it may be some other update too... jamason is right....

true. but for me i got different wordings in both RCMP and PCC requests:

1st letter: ''This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following documents:"

2nd letter: "We have begun processing your application for permanent residence, and in order to make a decision we require the following information/documents:"

Shouldn't that concern me, specially that medicals are pending for the wife because of pregnancy.

This is my interpretation. The first one says they want a document from you to start processing your application. The second one says that they have started processing and now they need a document from you. You are fine. The VOs never provide us current status of our application while requesting information from us.

I too had the same wording in my letters ,.. its obvious we are close to DM, but it baffles me why they would ask for the same document twice !

they will send request through email. Even I haven't received any doc request as of now. Not everyone gets that. So don't worry.

My concern is that my back ground check says not started.

ICT means intra-company transfer. For this also, CIC issues closed Work Permit. When you mean no LMIA, then you should be belonging to ICT category wp.
