I have got PPR and sent my passport to Ottawa today, but my work permit ends at Feb 17th.
So here is my question, can I stay in Canada wait for my passport since I can't travel without my passport?

I spoke with a CIC agent on the phone before and they told me themselves that you get points on what you enter into the system pre ITA.

As my six months was up today, I am thinking about calling CIC tomorrow and see if they can help me find out what has been keeping it.

You can also order GCMS notes. I believe it contains everything done with your application. But you will get the info in 30 days though.

I got the PPR and sent my passport to london. Believe it or not, they send me the passport back in TWO days. When I saw the DHL deliver at my home I thought my passport/documents were rejected and they were sending back.. but I opened it and it was everything there, the COPR and the passport with the visa! I believe it was the fastest case of PPR-COPR case here.

My whole timeline:

ITA: AUG 07
Medical: Aug 12
Schedule A: Sept 10
PPR: Dec 30
Change to London VO: Dec 30
Passport Arrived at London VO: Jan 19th
Passport Arrived at my home: Jan 22nd

I will miss this forum, I think I spent hundreds of hours in the past 2 years here.
