- LANDED..........
- Feb 4th 2013.....Finally!!!!!
Hi everyone,
I just wanted to briefly share our experience that we had on monday at our landing interview.
There was a room of about 14 people, and we all sat down and had to watch two power point presentations on PR cards and rules etc.
After that, they called up each couple one by one and only spoke to the client(not the sponsor). They asked, if I had any children anywhere in the world, have I ever committed any crimes since I've been in Canada. Have I ever been convicted of a crime anywhere in the world. We answered those with the obvious no, they made us check over the documents, making sure dates and spelling was right.( They did not ask any personal questions at all, so please, dont be like us and be soo nervous or worried. They are not out to get you, you have already been approved for PR). At this point they took the passport sized picture attached, had me sign a document, shook my hand and welcomed me to Canada. It was SUCH a relief!!!
Our journey has been on going for 3 years. It has finally come to an end, and thanks to those who have answered some of our questions when we were so lost or confused. Good luck to everyone on here, and don't lose faith! Your time will come as well.
