My call to CIC didnt give me any info. They just said we are actively working on my application. My spouse's medical , scheduled to expire in Dec has been extended.

Hello,

The last time I called they said background check is still in progress. The first time they said everything is fine and to just wait. It seems you get different responses based on the agent.

It seems weird the background check would take this long considering I have already been background checked 2 or 3 times for visas, study permits, and work permits.

It's been 5 months and 6 days for my inland PNP (SINP) application. Let me share my timeline,

AOR: 13/05/16
Schedule 4: 25/05/16
Medical Passes: 26/05/16
BGIP 1st time: 27/05/16
BGIP 1st time: 14/07/16
PPR: 19/10/16

I have a question, since I live in USA, which photograph store should my family go to for visa photos? Which courier is preferred for mailing passports? And which type of prepaid envelope am I supposed to use? Thanks in advance!
