And additionally: some of you guys have been waiting for over 6 months, right? But the validity of the nomination is only 6 months. Is this a problem? ??? Do we have to extend our nomination if the processing takes more than the date of expiry of our nominations? I would appreciate any information.

Hello,

Yes, many of us are over six months. The nomination just needs to be valid when you apply, you don't need to get it renewed.

Average processing time used to be ca. 4 months by PNP EE applications. What might be the reason of this delay?

Dear friends...
I have a list of 2016 PNP applications between (AOR date between January 2016 and June 2016). I separate the Inland EE PNP's (23 applications) from the others and find these results:
The average time between AOR and PPR: 94 days.
Longest time: 124 days
Shortest time: 71 days.

There are some other cases, however, that cannot be considered within the normal processing practice, since the relation of deviation in comparison with the general pattern is too deep that we can assume there might be an anomaly. For example two of the applications in the list are not completed. Therefore I did not include them into my calculation. One of them is 239 days, the other one is 210 days. That's why I consider them as an anomaly. If the processing takes longer than 180 days, it is a clear deviation (over 6 months normal processing time) but still OK. If, however, it takes more than 210 days, then it might be an anomaly. Maybe it is reasonable to contact a lawyer in this case. Best.

Below are the details of that guy..

BCPNP inland
EE ITA: 9 Mar 16
App submitted : 02 May 16
AOR : 02 May 16
Medical passed: 13 May 2016
Addition Doc submitted: 13 May 2016
BG in progress (2nd time): 15 Jul 2016
RPRF - paid upfront
ppr - 05 Oct 2016
VO: Ottawa (?)
no change on CIC account status
(Review in progress, Final decision not started)

Funny things is that, just a few hours later I got another email from WST-LandingEnquiries.
They asked me to go to local CIC office for "final determination for PR interview".
I thought once you get PPR, you just send your passport/copy of passport and get COPR.
So I called CIC and a rep lady said it's a landing interview therefore it's a good thing.

I'm still not sure but maybe I will update again (interview is next Tuesday)

This what you posted is very confusing. I have never seen a case like this! PPR is normally after the final decision is made. Are you sure that this info is absolutely accurate? If this case is as described above, this is a real change in terms of the procedures of the EE procedures.

In my opinion that's a landing schedule phone call from local VO to do the landing in the office instead of going across the border. My friend got a phone call from CIC after getting their copr for their scheduled office landing interview.

But it is an Inland-application. It should nothing have to do with crossing the border. Normally you send the passport, receive the PR visa, get your passport back via mail, and after you apply for the PR card.

Most inland applicants like some of my friends crossed the border to do landing cause sometimes CIC office appointment takes 2-3 weeks.

Hmm, it's interesting to see that guy had to wait for almost 3 months for PPR after the second BG check in progress. I thought for all category applications, normally it took less than 2 months. Looks like PNP inland takes longer on criminal and security check, or probably final review.

I won't be too optimistic about my application even after BG in progress for the second time. ::)
