I'm hoping it's some sort of glitch and our BgC are actually in process. I saw that mid to late a July apps already have AIP and DM on both sides.
They have started the processing of my application of feb 25 2019
Below is the timeline for my wife's application.
- August 31 - Application received
- September 30 - Medical results sent
- Nov 28 - Work permit approved
- Dec 5 - Work permit received
- Feb 15 - Sponsorship approval started
- Feb 18 - Applicant processing started
- Feb 28 - Sponsorship approved

Oh my gosh, I just realized that they did updated my application as well, as the medical results was the latest update I've had, I don't even bothered to read the previous items.

Anyone filed taxes yet? My wife arrived in 2018 on a TRV, we got married, and now I'm not quite sure how to answer some questions on Turbotax. She's got no 2018 income but does have a SIN from OWP... For example can you even claim the spousal amount for someone that doesn't have PR yet?

Yes! My husband (sponsor) and I (Principal applicant) filed taxes through HR Block, they put me on his account as a dependent for 2018 with no income. I arrived on a visitor Visa in Feb 2018 and married in March, so they put me as a dependent from the day we got married.
