I did not received an AOR but yesterday I received the medical request.

Hello,

We are in similar situation. File received at Mississauga on Aug. 31st. We got temp. file number but no AOR. We try to call once in a week, and same answer all the time i.e. to wait for AOR. So frustrating because not sure what is going on. Let me know if you get any updates for your application.

It can be useful to someone:

After repeated and unsuccessful tries I finally linked my OWP app today!

I had a previous passport that was valid until Aug. 2019 but I got a new one valid for ten years just before apply for PR and OWP. I've sent both passports with the app because we need to have a valid passport, and the old one have all my visas and travel history, (I still have CAN and USA valid visas on the old passport).

I was trying to use the new passport to link my OWP app, and for me it was obvious, because its the one valid.

I heard IRCC issues an Electronic Travel Authorization with the OWP, but I still have a valid visa and now actually, I'm from a visa exempt country.

So I got the idea to use the old passport info, and voilà! App linked.

OWP status says "in process" but at least I can be more anxious also checking OWP status. LOL

No news from OWP yet? Some July applicants already got OWP approval, but some others not, but dont panic, the regular time is 4 months.

In general your medical should come after OWP approval, but for some reason many of us is getting meds before OWP.

I know PR and OWP are processing separately so, one thing doesn't depend on the other.

According to your timeline you should hear from them this month.

Have they started to review your eligibility for the OWP?
On my OWP homepage, it shows: "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility."
I am so anxious but I think they didn't start doing anything with my application...

My app show the same status as yours.
I think you're right, they didn't started our OWP app yet, but I hope they will start soon, maybe until mid-november. Once they get their hands on our application, they can give us approval, even on the same day.

Let's wait a little bit more.

My OWP app changed the status today, now it shows: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
