Yes, if your app its already on the system it will works. Note that if checking app status on ECAS with sponsors UCI, you have to fill your personal information i.e. family name, date of birth, place of birth, instead of PA info.

I tried to link my OWP today but unsuccessful, I will wait a few more days.

If you guys want to link your OWP, call CIC. they gave an OWP application number to me and I was succesfully linked it. I asked them why it's not linking through the method that was used before. They said it's a system glich.

I never got an email from CIC yet but I was able to link my application online..I don't know if it is a glitch but it shows an application number when linked. Might give them a call on Friday when i dont have work.

I called CIC, and they told me that my application was sent back today from CPC - Mississauga.

The agent could only tell me that it was due to missing documents, but could not get into details.

So I look forward to receiving the application and the explanation...

The same thing happened to us, but the good news was that they sent it back via Canada Post priority mail and it was in our mailbox the next day.

I thought that they had already given you the AOR though? I think mine will be sent back too. Did it ever let you link online?

The same thing happened to us, but the good news was that they sent it back via Canada Post priority mail and it was in our mailbox the next day.

Mine was sent back because we did nit sign one page though the wifes name was already printed thinking it was electronic signature but yea they they needed signature as well. So we will reprint the whole form sign then date it but we will still include (paper clipped) the old one signed and dated as well. My file says FC1 or I something then CDA and TS if you could viber me 2048812722 im ok with it @Deh_avilla

I told you they would not process incomplete ours was literally complete with the electronic signature but was sent back because they wanted my wife to provide a handwritten signature it other than electronically

Im sure you have double checked the papers, like I did, but we never know...

I almost forgot I should type the name on some forms and then, hand sign it, its really tricky!

Yea i know its daunting but alittle bit of good news as well i kniw that they have recieved our papers and reviewed it nothing else is missing and for one form from imm 5669 page 3 i believe i had an explanation to which why it would not validate i guess since it wasnt mentioned on the letter my explanation was accepted.

Hey all,

My wife has been in Canada since January on a TRV. We finally received her Police Check from the FBI and submitted all documents in July. Unfortunately our application was returned in August (minus her application to change conditions/open work permit app) due to a missing signature on Schedule A (we missed the point that an actual signature was also required even though the field says that a digital signature is acceptable). Anyways, here is our timeline so far. As far as I understand from reading along these threads, I wont be able to link her application until we receive her AOR, can anyone confirm this? I panic a bit every time I try to link the application and nothing comes up.

Edit: After reading some more on this thread I am seeing that a lot of people have run into issues with the additional OWP Holder fee of $155, in addition to the $100 fee. I paid the $1040 application and right of PR fee along with the $100 fee back on July 13th, but no $155 fee.
Applied for PR & OWP - CPC Mississauga
App. sent: July 13, 2018 (Police certificate and Schedule A submitted upfront).
App. received: July 18, 2018
App. returned: August 16, 2018
App. sent again: Aug. 24, 2018 (Police certificate and Schedule A submitted upfront).
App. received: Aug. 29, 2018
