This immigration system is a s**m. They waited until documents expires, for applicants to redo them which cost more money and some of the fees or even increase. It is even more harder to get an appointment now to redo medicals and in times like this money doesn't come easy.

Yep, when you add it up, it's actually cost me thousands of $'s through their outright incompetence. No one is held accountable. No one cares. No one responds outside of a useless automated message. It's a joke.

IRCC using covid as an excuse is a complete cop out too. They were a year over their "estimated time frame" before the pandemic even happened.

Immigration called me today requesting I redo my Medicals, submit some forms and send them more pictures of my wedding. I applied in August 2018. I think they usually send emails and not call right?

If you have applied in August 2018 it’s pretty normal that IRCC requested to redo meds and some new forms that have an expiration date.
I have never been called but that sounds normal for immigration. Have you checked your CIC account for updates? If there is nothing there, call immigration and ask confirmation.

Yes, I checked and there’s an update. There was no caller ID and the agent sounded way too nice so I thought it was a scam

If you have the request updated on your account, it’s fine then. Throughout my process I spoke with different agents and they can be very nice sometimes. The faster you fulfill the requests, the better for you.

Kind of, but I got a message saying the process is complete and that someone from immigration will contact me to arrange landing.
