How long before an interview guys ?
I have heard it is very short. I haven't gone through it myself, but everHello guys, my wife just received an interview later on June 27. Can I ask what are they usually asking? besides the important dates.
What is your timeline?Mine,22 days passed from eligibility passed letter, No more news yet!

They may or may not ask you for fingerprints for the RCMP check. If they need it, that request will come when the BGC starts.USA to Canada here...I submitted my FBI certificate up front as requested. At what point will they ask for my RCMP check? Thank you.
Got my eligibility passed on May 17... still waiting for an update after that, nothing so far. So it really depends who is handling your file, there seems to be people for whom it goes fast and others not. Finally got an 'Eligibility Passed' applicant side ,message yesterday,

PR Timeline - inland spouse sponsorship:What’s your timeline?
How do you know they transferred your file? Do you just ask them?I called cic agent. They transferred my application to etobicoke from Montreal hub
Whatever you do...do NOT get out of status! I recommend going to your local Member of Parliament's office wherever you are living in Canada and ask for their help. We have gone to ours here MANY times and they can call immigration for you to get better and faster answers. You should be receiving AOR soon..ours was 28 days.Hi all. I am aware this is a thread for August 2018 inland applications but I have looked through other threads to find one where I could ask my question. Hopefully, someone here has experience on the same situation.
My partner and I recently applied for common law sponsorship. The application was received May 16, 2019 but we have no AOR yet. My work permit is expiring on July 4, 2019. And looking through the sponsorship timelines here, I worried that they would not begin our application before my OWP expires so I applied for a visitor visa, just to retain legal status while waiting. Now, I made a mistake. I should have applied for visitor record instead. They sent me an email saying visitor visa application was cancelled.
I called IRCC about an hour ago (40 mins on hold!) just to be sure I am submitting the correct application this time, and the agent tells me I do not need to apply for anything. As from what I understand from the threads I have read here, I should be applying for a visitor record to not be out of status. Am I right? Or should I follow what the agent said? I am just having doubts because she did not sound too sure and was questioning herself. Anyone had the same situation? Please help Thank you
Thank you for the response. Sorry I forgot to mention, I also submitted an OWP with my PR sponsorship application. The agent said this is enough for implied status? Can you just renew your OWP to remain in status?
Your agent was correct. I was here on a visitor extension. I was going to apply for a 2nd visitor extension but we applied for PR under the common law sponsorship and applied for an OWP along with it. I was worried sick that I would be out of status if I didn't apply for another visitor extension but our local MP's office called Immigration for us and got the same info as you did from the agent. We were told if we applied for the OWP, then I would, in fact, on implied status..so it sounds like you are good to go!Thank you for the response.
