congrats may i ask though, when you did your upfront medical, did cic still request you for that eventually or they just put medical passed on your eCas? Smiley

I did it before I submitted the app (Oct 2015), CIC didn't request it again. I assume once the medical review is passed (mine was passed in June 2016) then the result will remain valid regardless how much longer your app will be processed.

how can I bug them if i use a representative? ;D, she is pretty useless and all she keeps on telling me is to wait since my application is still under 26 months on process still.

I think you can send a case specific enquiry on the ircc web form....but i could be wrong.

It will probably show up in your mail box any time...but really you could be landing soon and will not need it. I've seen some get the OWP before they even actually receive the AIP letter.

I did call them next day I got my SA then AIP after that

i am so jealous!! in a good way though ...

my husband has a representative and she was stupid enough to give me the uci number so I called cic every 3 month what you rep's name

Dear sisters and brothers, FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY, my online status changed to DM and I got the landing interview letter last Thursday (Jan 26).

I got SA/AIP as early as June 2016. Even though someone later than me got DM and landing in July (good for them), even they're in front of me, I still thought I was one of the "lucky Sep-Nov" team and I should get my DM soon after them, but it turns out I'm not!

And you know what? I've got aimed to have an enduring background check!!!
We had an onsite visit and phone interview in October, and a security interview in December (I had a job related to my local government)!

That made my waiting a lot more stressful but... thankfully these are all finished! :-* :-*

See my profile at left for my timeline, and thank god although I'm not the "lucky Sep-Nov" but I'm still with the normal process flow.

I got my PR today . It took exactly 17 months and 1 day.

three questions during interview

if convicted in Canada or elsewhere. if been rejected visa or deported. any dependants that i did not declare.

asked my sponsor if she had sponsored anyone before?
