We receiver sponsorship approval!! Waiting for full approval now do you guys know how long approx it takes?

I was a May 2015 applicant. From the time I got SA to landing was about one month... but maybe that's because I'm in SK? Anyway, congrats on the sponsor approval!

I have sent my application in May 2015, and Medical exam has Been done in the beginning of August 2016. Today, I received an email from local cic, they scheduled an interview for me. However, I am not sure if this is a landing interview. Anyway, it is still good news to me.
All things I should bring with me to the interview: passport, work permit, 2 photographs, and RPR fee.

Provided you updated your address with CIC you should be fine. Most if not all communication seems to be by email anyway.

We applied in March 2015 but our application was returned a coup,e of times. In October was the last time we sent the application in. In March it was received in May my husband got his OWP. In June his daughter went to do her medical in Jamaica he did his in July. September he was asked for a background declaration and police clearance certificate. We've sent off for the PCC however at this moment customs Canada is holding the documents and telling us an agent is reviewing to see if the documents can be admitted into Canada. We only have a limited time to get this info to cic. I'm trying not to be worried or stress because I know he has a clean record.

If you make CIC aware (send a CSE) that you have attempted to comply and that CBSA is holding the documents at the border, they will note it and wait..

I also suggest that you contact the Consulate/Embassy/Mission of Jamaica in the province you reside. Inform them that the PCC is being "held up" at Customs and ask them if you can request that the PCC be sent to their mission for you to pick up there. If they agree you can then request that Customs forward the PCC there so you can pick it. That should work. Make sure you explain that you need to submit the document urgently to IRCC.
