The final piece of the puzzle was received today. PR card in the morning mail. I officially can stop looking for something, anything from CIC for a while to come yet. Good luck to the rest of you who are still waiting, it will happen soon!
Congrats Alurra71 on getting your PR card today. I have updated your status.Alurra71 said:The final piece of the puzzle was received today. PR card in the morning mail. You are inland. You would bring your passport with you to the landing interview.curiouslittledog said:hi everyone, I just discovered this forum! Great place for everyone, I wished I know this place before my application!
I have one question.. I got my ecas status changed to Decision Made today and I wonder, will I need to prepare a copy of my passport? I am from a visa- exempted country.
I have the same question....I`m almost in the same boat. I checked my email an hour ago and I find a letter from CIC. I must redo my medicals and my son too...he lives back home. I`m so mad...so furious... I can`t stop crying.. like a little girl...I haven`t seen my son for almost 3 years and now....waiting maybe 6 more months. I received DM on Oct 2013 and I called CIC so many times....why they didn't tell me earlier...I knew that my medicals expired after 1 year...and I asked them answer was..keep calm....the Etobicoke office will contact with you....rachel85704 said:I submitted my application in July 2012... At the end of September 2013 I received a denial letter stating that they had tried to contact me to get my medical done and that my timeline to do so had passed.
I hadn't received anything from CIC and was shocked by the letter, to say the least... Long story short, I had tons of proof that the mistake was on their end and my MP was able to get my case reopened a month and a half later.
I got my medical done in November and around the end of December/early January they updated my file as having received my medical results.
Does anyone have any idea how long it takes for them to finish processing my application after receiving my medical results? This whole thing has already set me back by almost 6 months (I was supposed to get PR status in September).
yvr1234, may you tell me, please, can I extend the medical results and how? Thank you!yvr1234 said:If you haven't, it's about time to call them (if not daily) weekly to check the progress.
before we got out landing interview, we got a letter (sent to our consultant) for us to provide extra information so that they can give an extension of medial result.
(deadline of reply was the next day from the day we got that letter) So I faxed the info back right away.
They also mentioned that they failed to contact us via phone before but NONE of us got any phone call from them. no missed call with their number...
So be pro-active in case they try to "contact" you.
Alurra71 is right. They contacted us to extend it. We didn't initiate the extension.Di_vas said:yvr1234, may you tell me, please, can I extend the medical results and how? Thank you!
Actually, I got my DM yesterday afternoon. I had talked to them last week and they told me that it probably wouldn't be until July.... I contacted my MP Thursday afternoon and they called for me and were told that I should hear from them within a couple of months... And then BAM! I got an email yesterday and now I'm just waiting for my appointment to be made to make it official.computergeek said:The clock restarts on the reopening of your file. So look at the timeline on the CIC website for the office processing your application and project forward from the date your file was reopened.
They use an electronic signature. You don't have to sign and scan the application.sunshine11 said:Please Help
When we apply OWP online
Do we just save Imm5701form and upload or
We need to print and scan Imm5701 and upload
If we don't need to scan then how we send our signature (on last page on this form) to CIC
oh ok. thanks for your reply!computergeek said:You are inland. You would bring your passport with you to the landing interview.
