Well my journey has come to a fantastic end :) I have my pr card in hand, medical coverage, social insurance number and start my new job on Monday. This site really has been invaluable. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences.

Thank you all for your kind words :)

That should be fine. They just need the receipt number. Ours was already in their system, but I was in the middle of pulling it up in my email on my phone when they told me they had it.

I would apply for the Travel Document.

thanks,I hope their system works well when we be there.
Wish you receive PR card soon. ^_^

What for do you need Travel Document? Do you still need that if you come back to Canada as PR?

New Week and Hoping for good news, So i checked my ECAS this morning it now shows they received my medicals, This was updated this morning, Even though i got my AIP in February and did my medicals in March, But i guess the delay was because of my oversea dependent medicals which they just received , Hoping to hear something good soon.Wishing everybody good news this week.

It seems that last week was a slow week for everyone. Haven't seen much of a flood of DMs, AIPs, landing notice. Hopefully this week will be a better week with news to come.

I just got off the phone with CIC to check and see if there was a landing intreview letter sent out or not. The rep said there was a letter mailed out to you Wednesday Nov 20th and she wasnt sure what that letter was for exactly, So iam assuming/ Hoping this is my landing intreview. So i hope i get something in the mail in about 4 to 10 business days and it will probably be dated Nov 20th and will keep everyone posted of any update.

Is it the DM? I'm so nervous....

We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Winnipeg will contact you concerning your permanent resident status.

The Right of Permanent Residence Fee of $490.00 is required before you can become a permanent resident in Canada. To date this fee has not been paid and the confirmation of permanent residence document will not be issued until payment is made. Please be prepared to submit the total fee of $490.00. Fees can be paid online at www.cic.gc.ca. You must print a receipt of payment. Fees must be provided to the Immigration Centre in Winnipeg when you are scheduled to obtain your confirmation of permanent residence document.

Please note: At the time of your appointment, you and your family members, if any, will be required to present the original identification document(s) to the Canada Immigration Centre.
