Hey my appointment to re-do my medicals is on oct/22. And we both submitted the application at the same time , so if you hear something back by Christmas my hopes will be up that I will as well, good luck to you and everybody that is waitinglsj2767 said:I redid medical exam
and would like to share small information.
I live in Brampton Ontario.
I chose Colin F. Saldanha in Mississauga.
It took one and half hours even though it was really busy.
But the Xray place was quite far for public transportation.
The address of the X-ray place was
2300 Eglinton ave west Mississauga.
According to the receptionist, it will take one week
to transfer the result to cic.
I wanna see the end before Christmas
because it seems like processing slows down around holidays.

Yes, I'd love to feel that.QuebecOkie said:CONGRATS, Sweetsher!
After waiting sooooooo long, and stressing sooooooo much, isn't the landing appointment almost anticlimactic? It feels great to get it done, but shouldn't there be, like, a live band there to strike up a tune as you walk out as a PR, or something? :-D
It has been VERY helpful to have a place where others understand the stress, worry, boredom, and uncertainty! My husband is my best friend, but I don't think he REALLY understood completely everything I was feeling. He was in Southern Ontario for around 5 months last year, and I would drive down to visit him once a month or so. One night everyone wanted to drive across the border to some restaurant in the U.S. *I*, the AMERICAN, was the only one who couldn't go! And it really upset me. I don't think he understood just why.lsj2767 said:Yes, I'd love to feel that.
I'm not gonna take basic rights and freedom for granted.
Struggling with unemployment, no health care, no ID..which even spouses can't understand fully.
This forum is very stress relieving.
we don't have letters from friends or family....but we have photos of friends and family lolnrajani_99 said:Hey Ronny,
