Hi Screech. I've been reading this forum for a long time now...but I've never posted anything. All of the information I find here is very helpful, and you're doing an awesome job by maintaining the spreadsheet.

Can you add me to the spreadsheet as well?

I'm from India, and my wife is the sponsor. My application was received on November 28th, 2012. My medical was done on November 15th, 2012. I applied for my open work permit on February 16th, 2013.

Well I just got an email saying my permanent residency application has been completed and to await an appointment at teh Canada immigration Centre in Calgary.

That took 2 weeks since my stage one processing was completed! WOW!!

What do I do now???

I just called cic and asked if my application has been opened.
The agent told me my AOR date.
Is it correct? CIC actually started processing on the AOR date??

Congrats bethfaint on getting DM. Now you just have to wait for Calgary to send you a landing letter. It appears that Calgary is sure taking their time in issuing landing letters.

How long is taking their time? I have a vacation booked for next month, hopefully it's not in the middle of that!

You are pushing the limit. I mean really. According to timesheet those that landed/landing in calgary waited from 61 days to 160 dsyd after DM.

If you are vacationing within Canada then you're fine. Chances are you will be landing after your vacation.

I have you added to timesheet. However I would like more info if possible.

Would like to know what city you are living in now. I am assuming you submitted your police check and medical check same time with app. And if you know your AOR date that would be great too. If you are not sure what AOR. Its the email your wife has gotten from CIC saying they got the application. This usually happen sometime in janurary timeframe.

Much appreciate your feedback.

We are currently living in Brampton, Ontario. Yes, I have submitted my police and medical check with my application. I've read every single post on this forum so I have very strong knowledge on what an AOR is LOL. By the way, my AOR date is January 11th, 2013.

Thanks I appreciate your feedback. Pardon me then. I didn't mean to insult your knowledge of PR process. We all learn something new everyday.
