I guess that it's a landing interview. You are lucky because you don't have to wait for it for a long time. Congrats!Vincy boy said:I jus got home and saw a mail from cic stating ...
I am please to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview that has been scheduled for the 25/09/2013....
What do they mean by interview?
Hey,eager beaver said:Hey Everyone, just wonderng about the medical, exam. Do they expect you to do it all over again if it expires during their extremely long processing times? Our medical was probably done in August of 2012 so will no longer be valid, but that is not our fault, they asked for it sent with our app so thats what we did...Has anyone else been asked for this because it has expired? and has anyone else's expired and they have not been asked for another?
Really dont wanna spend anothe $400
Congrats vincyboy.Vincy boy said:I got desion made Sunday and landing date 3 days after
Okay thanks a lot Screech339, let's wait and hope for the bestscreech339 said:You just have to sit and wait. If CIC never request for your medical again all the better. But the moment they do ask for a redo of your medical you have no choice but to suck it up, pay the medical bills and do it again.
Just hope they don't ask for a medical redo.

Thanks quebecokie,QuebecOkie said:Screech, many thanks for keeping up with the spreadsheet. I'm sure it's not always convenient, but I can't help but be happy that you've been so much busier lately.
Maintaining a spreadsheet is a lot more reassuring in that you can see the forest instead of seeing a single tree. CIC will not give you any info on how everyone is doing or know what kind of progress CIC is doing. The spreadsheet will at least give you "inside info" on CIC's progress. It help single applicant keep their sanity in knowing how everyone else is doing and what sort of expectations in timelines.QuebecOkie said:Well, it's appreciated. Even when I should have stepped away from the computer and tried to stop thinking about it, it was nice to have a spreadsheet to look over, to see who was in the same boat as me, to see when others finally saw some movement. And now, to see a bit about the timeline for landing in Montreal. You're far, FAR more informative than CIC, haha!
