We got aip Dec.5/2012 and were asked to submit fingerprints.

I havent received any email yet as to what the decision is though. We went through a consultant so we will see if he receives any snail mail for us this week.

Congratulations on your H&C application moving forward - that's probably the slowest form of application. Of course, the Inland 2012 thread probably isn't the right thread (or are you being sponsored? If so, I can imagine the Inland 2008 thread probably isn't very active).

CIC seems to either require PCCs from every country since you turned 18 OR the past 10 years - I've read both on the website. I checked the current H&C checklist and it doesn't say, so all you can do is inquire with the visa office - or wait for them to ask, because they WILL ask if they need one.
CG, they did ask for PC from my country so I guess I will do it. Thanks again for your response and keep up the good work. Have you already landed?

Has anyone else noticed this new CIC survey about immigration?

@computergeek yeah i just checked it now and did the survey.

I am expecting a jump tomorrow ;D

@CG
I thank you very much and I did speak my mind in the comments section of the questionnaire. I thought they'd have made mention of Canada's attitude toward foreign credentials but I didn't relent to add it in the comments section

*sigh* No jump. :( This is so frustrating.

Unfortunately they are still "Working on applications received on October 8, 2012!!!

OMG!!! Can you believe this??? :( :( :(

Someone that has been around here for a few years, has anyone seen this long of a delay on 1 date before? Outrageous.
The worst thing is they probably won't make up for lost time, they will continue to move at the normal pace(whatever that is) and we all just get pushed even farther behind for that OWP.

Does anyone have the contact details for
the Minister of Immigration ?
I think I'm going to write him a letter
and deliver it person(assuming) his office is
in the Ottawa area.
It's about time a face is put to the struggles
the delay is causing. I've officially lost track of
the number of weeks it's been since they've been
working on October. I've called my lawyer
to give them a call, maybe he'll get some
sort of information I'm unable to get.
I'm officially one week away from the 9 month wait for stage one.
I know it was going to be a tedious process
If I knew it was going to be 9 months and nothing. I would have gone home and do Outland.
This is just crazy. What's even more unbelievable is
They're telling you on the website if its been
Longer than 6 months, we should call. No one have
any kind of answer or explanation.
Ill have to start calling the office of the Minister of
Immigration.
I'm soo fed up now. Grrrr

Same here, I m a week and some days away from 9 months waiting. Its so heart wrenching to see yet another week saying October 8th. **rolling eyes** Oh my goodness, I feel like am losing my mind. Maybe I should travel up to Vegreville and pound on the door haha... But seriously I am totally sad.

It's Thursday the 18th and the CIC website is updated but they're still on October 8th
