The email version will be more detailed and specific to your application. The ecas will be more simple and generic in status. We had the same wording on the ecas website when my wife gotten a DM email.

So it is good news regardless to me. So congrats.

Oh definitely its good news! I almost fell off my chair at work when I saw it! I just mean im excited to get that letter. then the landing wait time starts. she said we would be Etobicoke office and once hes landed they will issue the visas to the girls.

What sucks about Etobicoke office is that long wait time to get a letter from them. It took us 9 weeks to get a letter and 2 other people 11 weeks to get theirs.

Booo that sucks, and then we have to wait the kingston visa time for the girls visas, so im thinking anither 3-4 months they should be here before Christmas!! ;D gives us time to save a little more, its gonna be crazy here with 5 kids!

Going to be quite a crowd for you. I know the feeling. I come from a family of 4 brothers and my oldest brother have 5 of his own.

Krisskris has 2 daughters there waiting to come to Canada. Once krisskris gets her PR status, the 2 children will then gets theirs in Kingston

So we called the call center again ;D and the lady confirmed our application is complete as of July 5th 2013!!! and a letter was posted to us on that date, we should get it tomorrow or wed! ;D ;D ;D my hubby just called the girls and they are jumping with joy!!

I am curious as to how your 2 daughters be able to fly to Canada unaccompanied by adults. You cannot fly out until you have your PR card to fly out and fly to jamacia to take your daughters back to Canada. I'm going to assume your canadian/PR husband will go down himself and bring them back.

You have it a little backwards, lol he is the applicant, I am the sponsor. but regardless he really wants to go home and pick them up. they havnt seen their Daddy in 3 years, I took our son down last yr June. So i guess he will have to wait for his card (how long "generally" does that take?)

Sorry for getting it backward. PR card arrives about 67 days on average after landing.

Etobicoke could take 7-11 weeks to send us our landing date letter,
The date is usually how long? 2-3-4 weeks from getting the letter?
Then we wait average 67 days for PR card,
Then we can book flights?

Unfortuately correct. You can book after landing so long it is at least 2 months in advanced after expected time of receiving PR card in mail.
