Yes that is the correct address. However there is no email or phone number to contact them directly. You would have to show up in person.

That office is by appointment only. CIC stopped offering walk-in (counter) service last year.

Thanks for letting me know. I knew they were by appointments only. However I thought they may make some exceptions for those that require to reschedule appointment if they know they cannot attend original appointment. Thought maybe they can go to reception and inform them they need to reschedule. Would save themselves a lot of headache. Remember by not showing up for appointment, they may assume you don't want to land and thus cancel the whole process. This way they know you are making an effort to land.

Does anyone know the timeframe from DM to landing appointment if your landing in Ottawa ? Thnx

The only person on the timesheet that landed in Ottawa was Parruda and the timeline was 43 days from DM to Landing for Ottawa. Did you recently get a DM? I don't have you on the timesheet. If you wish to be put on the list, please let me know and provide your timeline, country of origin and where you are living now.

I am just new here. I just want to have an idea if there's anyone here that application was transferred to cic etobicoke without aip. How long will take to get a call or notice from this office from the time file has been transferred? I haven't receive anything from the time my file was transferred. It's really a long wait... My info are as follows:
application received in vegreville : 30 March 2012
receive request for update info : july 2012
file transfer to etobicoke : 10 october 2012

Hi, I have question:

My SIN, Care Card, and OWP expires on July 13, 2013. I got DM letter last April 9, 2013, and until now, no landing date yet from Vancouver Office. May I know what actions should I take regarding my SIN, Care Card and OWP. Should I apply for extension with OWP? But I think, they would not process it since my application has been approved already, right?

Please guide me. Thanks

Care: contact the MSP folks and they will extend you for a few months - you could send them a copy of the fee receipt for your OWP renewal, your DM letter, and you won't have a problem.
OWP: you can apply to extend it on July 12. MY advice is to pick the slowest processing method (probably paper) and send it in so they receive it on or just before July 12 (so use a courier and get a receipt). Then you have implied status and may continue working (legally) though your employer might require some evidence (e.g., fee paid receipt, courier receipt).
SIN: nothing you can do until you get a new work permit or your PR.

I suggest this with the OWP because odds are you will land BEFORE they get around to processing your renewal. When they get to your renewal, they will determine you are not eligible for a work permit (because you are not a foreign national) and they will not process your application. They refund the application fee.

This happened to me: I applied for a work permit renewal on August 11, 2012 and they refused it on November 2, 2012 because I was not eligible for a work permit - I had landed on October 13, 2012. The refund showed up about a month later.
