The spread of Decisions Made in 2013 is like this:

Jan - 1
Feb - 6
March - 7
April - 35
May - 4

Maybe they plug away at other areas, and then do a whole batch at once! Hopefully in June or July we'll see another rush of completions.

I'm not panicking...yet...

a school mate whose spouse works for an immigration lawyer firm, indeed everything has come to a halt. Immigration has told her firm that they don't need to give reasons to anyone. They want media attention. They are on hold for an undisclosed period of time. They are weathering a bunch of new storms with all the new visa requirements for foreign workers... They want to show Canadians that they are serious about foreign workers...

How do we get media attention? I am not sure. I am really hoping that was just one officers opinion. However... We have proof the Oct 8 date has not moved for months. I wrote my Federal MLA monday night, but she has not responded yet.

I don't believe this at all, it doesn't make sense to me.

@This is one of the most crappiest of news in a long while. What does foreign worker visas have to do with inland applications. As far as I know federal skilled workers are processed for the most part outside Canada. All I know is that something is really wrong.

Hey thank you everyone for your kind words. I made a mistake on the interview date. It is actually on July 3. Karito don't worry yours will come soon. Isn't it almost time that you can inquire about it with CIC or your local office?

Congrats to radio777 on landing yesterday. Congrats to jillplay who will be landing today. Congrats to figtoria's hubby in getting an OWP in the mail.

Congrats Wolanila! I am very happy for you. It did take a long time for your letter to arrive but now you have it. Congrats to all the others who are moving ahead as well. For those who are still waiting don't give up hope and don't let negativety take control, your day will come too.

It is depressing to see the CIC website still stuck on Oct 8 for 5 weeks now. So for the last 9 weeks it was stuck on oct 4 and oct 8. :( However as for the reasoning behind this? As somone mentioned in post past, she/she called CIC to be told that they are trying to clear out the october applications before moving on, probably before the new changes that come into effect October 25. The only silver lining to this is that once "october" is cleared, it would hopefully jump the date to November when it gets cleared.

Thanks Rusty. I got your pm. Will call you tonight :)

I hope her news is unreliable as well.

Here's a link to find your MLA.... send a letter, it can't hurt.

Hi

So I just called CIC a nice lady verified for me, and said my information was just recently sent it to vancouver and the wait time here is actually 3 months, so she thinks most likely I will get my letter in July. Oh well I was hoping to visit home before winter but I guess I have to wait until Xmas to go there.

No, in fact, CIC has been stuck on Oct 8 for 7 weeks. Well.... the new rule doesn't be applied to some applicants, even if they sent their app after 25th Oct.
So, I don't understand why CIC want to clear out the October app. But as Screech said, I hope the date jumps.

Updated date Step1 (Working on applications received on MM/ DD)
20. Mar 6months(9/28)
27. Mar 6months(10/5)
3. Apr 6months(10/5)
10. Apr 6months(10/5)
17. Apr 6months(10/5)
24. Apr 6months(10/8)
1. May 6months(10/8)
8. May 6months(10/8)
15. May 6months(10/8)
22. May 6months(10/8)
29. May 6months(10/8)
5. Jun 6months(10/8)

12. Jun 6months(11/XX) <= I hope! :)

@screech
U have a point when u spoke of the delay and its relation to the new rules. My two friends also applied in October before the new rule took effect but neither of them heard anything. One of them told me that CIC called his wife's mom and her best friend has they had provided them supporting letters. I don't know that its true; but that's what I was told
