I applied online. Its in 40 days.
Keep calling them to check your application status because last time I did not check and I found out that online application was lost....
So this time I kept asking after every 10 days

hi i just got my letter and it says

"We are pleased to advise you that processing of your application has been completed. The Canada Immigration Centre in Vancouver will contact you concerning your permanent resident status.

Please note: At the time of your appointment, you and your family members, if any, will be required to present the original identification document(s) to the Canada Immigration Centre. A final decision concerning the granting of permanent residence status will be made at the time. If permanent residence is granted, the name that will appear on the confirmation of permanent resident document is your name as it appears on your passport or identity documents."

please advise me, what does this all mean??? thanks.. vancouver office didn't contact me yet.

Today I got my "Final Determination Interview" letter. scheduled in Edmonton for May 16! I guess May-June Applications will start to get their landing appointments soon! They are asking for photographs, Passport and PR fee. One more month only!!

Not sure but I know the Etobicoke office isn't 30 days. My frend got her DM two months ago and have been waiting to hear from Etobicoke and all now not a word! They probably take over 2 months or my frend is out of luck

Not the kind of news I want to hear. At first I was hoping it would be 30 days from DM based on timesheet of those landed at Etobicoke. However since it is almost 3 weeks now, I am conceding that it would take longer than 30 days. However with your friend waiting for 2 months now is not making me happy about that.
Regardless I still look forward to getting the mail soon however long it takes.

I applied on the 16th so you and I should be getting our AIP's close to the same time-Does your application say its in process?mine still says application received
