Hello yes you can pay online then bring the receipt on your landing appointment at your local office. There seems to be a lot of Decision Made letters this week before the long weekend :)

Hi Jenny12345,

i just noticed in the spreadsheet that you are from the phils. too.. congratulations for getting the dm! may i ask if you have any dependents back home? u r so lucky,kabayan.. that was really fast! :)

hello weary damsil, no dependents. Yes I am very happy how fast they processed my application. I've been here in Canada for more than 4 years working as a TFW.

Hi... I am new to this forum. My husband sponsored me for PR (inland application). My timeline:

Application submitted: 17th July 2012
Medicals done: 27th June 2012
AOR: 3rd Nov 2012
AIP: 15th Jan 2013
OWP applied: 28th Jan 2013 (on paper)
OWP granted: 19th March 2013.

ECAS shows status "in process". Medical results has been received.

So I just got my OWP last week. It didn't have any forms for me to sign and return, just the actual permit. What do I do now? Can I just apply to any job and assume the employer knows what to do with my permit? Am I missing a step? Thanks! :D

Get a social insurance number at your nearest Service Canada, get health insurance as well. Then you can start applying and working . The employer will know what to do just give a copy of the open work permit.

@ sweetsher....UCI and File Number which you had recieved is AOR

@ sunsun. Thank u, I was sure! Just waiting patiently to hear from cic any day now. Hopefully by next week

My husband is sponsoring me and when I use the UCI with his info nothing comes up but when I use the file # with my info I c application received. Is it normal nothing wud come up on his info.

Hello!! I am very happy to announced that i also received an email from CIC saying that my application for permanent Residence has been completed and they will be contacting me from Vancouver Office. and Also will be issuing the visas for my family members included in the app. My application is from May 2012.

I am also confused with this paragraph in my letter:
The Right of Permanent Residence Fee of $490 is required before you can become a
permanent resident in Canada. To date this fee has not been paid and the confirmation
of permanent residence document will not be issued until payment is made. Please be
prepared to submit the total fee of $490. Fees can be paid online at www.cic.gc.ca. You
must print a receipt of payment. Fees must be provided to the Immigration Centre in
VANCOUVER when you are scheduled to obtain your confirmation of permanent
residence document.

Could someone pls advise me, Do I have to pay the fee now "online" and save the receipt for my appointment at the Vancouver office? or I have to wait till the appointment date and make this payment at the office?

Thanks!! Wish good luck to everyone!
Hey Hey congrats. Good to hear more good news these days!!

If cic emailed us about the application being completed are they going to send us a mail regarding that?

nishika, I have addedd you to the spreadsheet. Welcome to the "Great Canadian Wait"

Today I was driving back from Edmonton and went through Vegreville. I stopped by the CIC office building and said some really nice things to an empty building and asked that they please bring DM's to all of the 2012 applicants. I hope it helps!!
