HI everyone
I am new in this forum. Just find out that we have more friends in the same frustrate waiting game with CIC. Lol
My husband sponsored me and we are applied for inland application under spouse (legal married in Toronto, ON at Oct 2011)
Our visa office is Vegreville, Alberta
We sent out the app in June, 2012
My AOR would be Nov 8, 2012
We check aces and see that application in process Jan 10, 2013
I still in the status as international student with expired date at Dec, 2015
Hope that all the process will finished before that.

Please add me to the worksheet and join with your group to share the feelings about the application processing
Have a great day

I have the small question about my application. Mu husband had previous marriage at 2007 and sponsor his ex at 2008. She came here at Dec 2008 but they filed out the divorce application on Jan 2010 and got the divorce paper on June 2010. Will it affect my application? I was so scared about that because so many people said to me that was important cause they will deny mi file.
Also, because of changing career, my husband only got around 10,000 for 2011 income tax so when we file the application at June 2012, we seem like we did not meet the minimum income requirements base. However, we have the cheque split and other pay cheque information from his employer that he was working under 3000/month salary base.
Thanks for any answer about my application and hope everyone will reach the final destination soon ^^!

Hey, does anybody here have experience of the landing interview? I've googled and found out the questions are pretty straight forward but they ask me to bring every document" issued by CIC. I'm not sure if this meanss every letter emailed and posted or jst the visitor records and work permit.

I'm assuming just the actual visitor records and work permit but a little paranoid I don't have every single letter.
Hi kenny,

They told me to bring all documents issued to me by cic like work permits, i would also bring all the letters ther sent me, i know i feel paranoid too but might as well bring it all. ???

Hey , thats not true.. many people have applied through consultants.. I think as Ecas says that your application was started processing on feb 26. so that means that they have accepted the proof they requested. And you just have to wait till next step thats your AIP..

Hi Canham2012, thanks for the reply. But they also requested on one letter, more proof that we are common law. So more proof + medical + police report were sent in. Consultant says its a good sign. Maybe they will approve stage 1 and 2 together...hoping ;)

Hello All,

I have a questions... I have a previous marriage that was annuled.. do i need to show that as a marriage. We never lived together.. it was an arranged marriage, we jus signed papers but before our religous wedding we dedecided not go through with it. When I got married again i showed it as I never been married.

Could someone please help me.

thank you,
It's safest to disclose it. In your application you can say "never married" but then attach a statement explaining why you say you were never married. In that way you stick by your basic view of what happened but have disclosed the circumstances so there is no misrepresentation.

Why apply for an extension early? In your situation I'd submit it at the last minute via the slowest channel so that if you get PR before they get around to your OWP renewal you get the $150 fee back. You'd be allowed to continue working under implied status anyway...
