Congrats mdna! Five days between AIP and DM....hopefully I get just as lucky! :D

I am so confused.. I need your help please!
I received a letter today from CIC about my app for permanent residence saying that further info is required. Asking the same questions that i answered in the spouse questionarie. And ask to include details to stablish that i have a genuine relationship like joint bank account etc. And i inclueded all that when i submitted the app. Also ask me to submit police certificate which i sent as well.

So, do you think they lost all this papers that i submmited with the app? Because doesnt make any sense to me. How can i get in touch with the officer that have my case?
One thing i noticed, there are 2 different officers names in the letters that i received, one letter confirming app was received and this one requesting additional info. And both letters have different officer signatures.
So, which one should be the right to contact?
I really would like to talk to this officer, because this call center agents leave me even more confused.

Congrats mdna, really happy to hear abt ur quick completion of this journey :)

You should call CIC using your UCI.
Did you also try to see what your online status says ?
In the meantime, if I were you, I would just resend whatever they are asking for

Thank you Frenchie!
I am going to call tomorrow and see if i can get a friendly agent that can guide me through this. Because i am really confused.
Have a good night!!

My ECAS was updated today to "In Process", and says this:

We received your application for permanent residence on May 16, 2012.

We started processing your application on October 19, 2012.

Medical results have been received.

This means there's nothing missing or any problems, right?

Exactly. Sounds like things are moving along like normal.
