Thanks so much. This forum is a great support. Helped get threw some rough days, so I too will continue to try to help others if I can.

Does anyone know what questions they ask at the interview ?
I'm guessing that's what's coming next.
The usual 3 questions usually based on questions 6 found in IMM5669.

The most common questions are:

Do you have any children not listed in COPR?

Have you been convicted / charged in Canada?

Have you been denied entry to any countries?

Since the baby is born Canadian, the child still doesn't need to be listed in COPR. So even if asked, you say no since they specifically asked for any children NOT LISTED in COPR. In other words, need to be sponsored for PR.

You can tell them you have a baby born in Canada but it won't change anything.

Worst comes to worst, CIC agent may ask you to complete the family form IMM5406 if you never informed CIC of the baby birth since the baby was born. You were suppose to inform CIC of any changes in PR processing, including birth of baby in or outside Canada. CIC would then may give you instructions whether to complete IMM5406 or not.

If you did inform them and they told you to do nothing as it doesn't affect PR sponsorship as child does not need to be sponsored, then you will not have any problems at landing.

No we didn't inform cic. Things were taking so long as it was. We thought it might delay things even more and we had been told that we would have a final answer just before the baby was born ( almost 6 months ago ). If it's as simple as just filling out a form than that brings me peace of mind.
Now we just wait for the call and hopefully this will be over soon.
Just thinking about how long our wait has been due to an clerical error on there part is enough to drive anyone crazy.
Still don't see how they expect people to try to live normally waiting for so long.
30 months is insane. All because they said they sent a form they never did. Good thing I had enough proof to back up my story. Hence it says clerical error in the GMc notes

Inland Sponsorship
Edmonton, AB
Mar 12, 2015 — Following the successful demonstration that was hosted on March 1 2015 in front of CIC Headquarter Building in Ottawa, the Inland Spousal Sponsorship Petitioners group is organizing the other 2 demonstrations in Calgary and Mississauga this month.

The next 2 demonstrations will be hosted on Saturday, March 21st at 1:00pm at Calgary City Hall (Municipal Complex) 800 Macleod Trail SE, Calgary and on Friday March 27th at 1-3PM at CPC-Mississauga 2 Robert Speck Parkway Mississauga L4Z 1H8 in order to educate Canadian general public on the issues of the immigration processing delay that affect thousand Canadian families, and to call on immediate changes for Inland spousal sponsorship AIP backlog (currently at 18 months).

To register for Calgary demonstration (March 21) click here http://goo.gl/NM8iJ7
To register for Toronto-Mississauga demonstration (March 27) click here http://goo.gl/Q8LIvW

Both events have been approved by the cities.

On March 11 2015, during Question Period at the House of Commons, when asked by MP Lysane Blanchette-Lamothe about the Inland spousal sponsorship backlog and if CIC has any plan to clear this backlog, Minister of Citizenship & Canada Chris Alexander stated that his government is "very proud" of his current immigration system and reforms.

If you are just redoing Medicals because they asked for new ones then you can go to any other authorized location.

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what the change in the processing times mean? Is it 27 months in total or now 27 months just for stage 2 as it's not even called that anymore? I'm not even sure when this happened as I get so depressed looking at it and still waiting that I try not to go on there!

Thanks in advance,
