Please someone help me

I applied for Open work permit online after my AIP

Application was approved on March 15th 2014

Still hasn’t received anything (more then 2 weeks now)

Anyone how long it will take to receive OWP

Do I need to send password for OWP visa?

Why its took 6 weeks?? don't understand

After OWP appliation approval don't they send within 1-2 days??

I had checked the spread sheet and the only halifax or even Nova Scotia applicant I could see was back on 19/06/12 not many from NS on here I suppose...so so close now come on hurry up please

Oh boy! That's even more frustrating. Sorry luv! You can check the 2013 Inland Application thread spreadsheet. Maybe they have someone from NS. This waiting game never ends, eh? I'm assuming it'll take about a month for the landing date. At least that's what I got from other applicants. I think it'll take longer for special cases. Hope we all hear from them soon! Stay positive and good luck!

Just redivided my landing letter and date,I land on Friday the 11 of April, ;D ;D ;D my time has come,just over a week to go,I can't believe it I'm just there holy @ #*€ thank you

Quick question when they say to bring the original of your identify document?what is this?

Congrats. I will update your status tomorrow.

As for docs they request, they are referring to passport, photo ids, CIC docs such as owp, visitor records, etc and don't forget to bring two PR photos with you too.

Thanks screech,much apreciated buddy,I can not wait,8 days here we go,day is booked off work and as soon as I land I'm going to the local pub, (2 blocks from immigration office)and will be there for the day haha ;D ;D

You may want to contact CIC to let them know that you haven't received your OWP in the mail yet since it has been approved.

You don't send in your passport for OWP visa. They send the OWP visa in the mail for you to put it in with your passport.

Don't think it should take 6 weeks to come after OWP approval. This is why I suggest you contact CIC and inform them at least on a weekly basis until you get your OWP in your hand. I did this calling CiC to get them to send the landing letter to my wife. Got the letter after 8 weeks.
