This sounds a bit weird but ever so often when I contact my Lawyer I am so tempted to mention "Screech" Lolol..... Like I would be tempted to say: But Screech said this and Screech said that, haha !!!

I couldn't though because I know that though most if not all the info you give is acccurate, I am aware that this is a forum and I can't be using your name to challenge my Lawyer hehehe ;D eventhough it seems to me you know more .... But certainly my hubby gets it left, right and center.... everyday I'll say But screech said this and screech said that... He laughs at me sometimes.... Good Job screech... what would we do without you my friend!!

Just go to your local liquor store and pick up a bottle of screech to celebrate your DM. If you can handle downing a couple of shots of that rum, I'm sure you can handle the landing without a breaking a sweat.

BTW: I updated your status on timesheets. Since you gotten your DM last week, you should be getting a landing letter sometime this week if etobicoke keeps up their firing rate of sending out landing letters.

My landing interview was scheduled for October 2nd, 2013 but i was told that my medicals have expired and the officer was going to ask for an extension. Today i received a letter from CIC-Calgary that my medicals have been extended until July 2014 and my landing interview has been rescheduled for December 11, 2013.

Sorry to hear that. I thought you have landed oct 2nd since we never heard from you since then. I will update timesheet to reflect you new landing date. CIC are right that you have to land before your medical report expires.

OMG! Congrats on your *almost* Landing....but that must be so frustrating to have to wait all that extra time now!!! How can it be that they don't have another appointment between now and then!?!???

Unfortuately for her, Calgary office is a very busy office and thus put back in queue for waiting to land again making her wait another 2 months.

I think she would hold the record for the longest wait time from DM to landing at a record of 230 days.

I am disappointed in that the agent didn't request for a medical extension prior to her DM.

Congrats bethfaint on getting your landing. You are landing on same day and office as aadhalla. She could use the company as her landing appointment was rescheduled due to her medical expiring before her original landing date.

Where are you getting that info? So far only 2 applicants has landed in London. One in May and the other Sept. Not sure where you are getting this once a month landing in London.

I was in the same situation before. My AIP came before my PRAA. CBSA did not give me my passport back but before they got my passport, they gave me a certified true copy. I was able to use it since then. You shouldnt have a problem getting a police check or any other document for that matter as you can present your certified true copy anyway. Your passport will not be given back to you; CBSA will forward your passport to CIC.

A friend of mine had an appointment in London for Sep 26 but her sponsor was out of town, She went to the London office and explained her sponsor was out of town and was told they would reschedule her appointment but they only did landing appointments once a month. So rescheduled her for Oct 23

My medicals will be expiring too. I'm guessing they just extended mine instead?
