Has everyone reporting receiving their AIP's received their work permits yet?

Called CIC this morning. Our work permit was sent out Oct. 3 so we should be receiving it sometime this week.

Hi guys!

We got the AIP today!!!

I just got a call from the consultant and he forwarded us the email from cic saying that the first stage has been approved!!

I am so happy!

I applied for a OWP when we filed and now I can start to work! The actual work permit will come through the mail in the next few days.

They received my application on 4th April and started processing 27th July


P.S. Ecas is not updated yet.

It's great news that many of you have been receiving AIP. In my case, I was expecting to hear from CIC last week since my application was sent in March and started being processed in July this year.

I haven't received anything yet. However, I checked my Ecas today and it says that my application is in process as of October 4th. I find it weird, because I thought that they started processing it back in July...

Anyways, I guess each case is different, but hopefully I will get news soon because the wait is kind of driving me crazy...

Congrats to march applicants.
Just spoke to cic, the agent said they are issuing letters for 10march apps.
Mine was receieved on 19 march.
I should wait another month.....

At first he said processing time is 9months...hahah.
Imagine....

Anyways, its closer so fingers crossed

well, I guess under pr. My sponsor was never able to access ecas, but since I had my client number from before I enter with my information...and this information is under my name...

The pr applicant only shows pr usually. If it says pr and underneath I process it should mean u have AIP. U can call CIC to verify it. What does it say when u click on pr?

When I sent my application in March, and my sponsor got the email confirming that it had been received , we could never access Ecas with that information. Since I came to Canada as a Temporary worker, and I had my client number, I tried to access Ecas with my information. Now, this page shows only my information, so I think its a little different....

and when I click on "In process", it says "We started processing your application on October 4th, 2012"
