Thank you! We landed today at the Vancouver office. The whole peocedure took about an hour. There were around 10-15 other couples there as well. Thank you to everyone for their support! It still hasnt sunken in that we are finally finished! Good luck to all those who are still waiting

just 12 hours after ecas update i got the official letter too just amazing!
i have some question now !
I received a mail from CIC Scarborough requesting for the proof of my payment for the Right of Permanent Residence Fee and also copies of my passport, along with proof of my original and last date of entry to Canada.... i am just confused about the original and last date of entry to Canada as my wife was a refugee as she entered canada !! And entred with no passport... in the letter they are asking me to fax everything within 7 days...so should i fax the orginal or send the actual original paper through the mail ???
also what is the avrege wait time to get the landing date from CIC Scarborough?

I have updated your status on timesheet. Does your wife have a passport now? Not sure how she is going to land without a passport. I'm assuming she got a passport now. The original entry date they are asking for is probably the day that she entered Canada as refugee. Without a passport, not sure how to deal with that. Perhaps someone who was in same spot as you may explain how to deal with it.

Long time no show, trust you guys are all well!
Decision Made received finally!
Date of DM is 29 August 2013,
We are now waiting for landing interview from Edmonton Office, according to the statistic from spreadsheet it takes app. 43 days after DM.
However, when i check the online status, it is weird that my mailing address has changed to my another registered address.
All doc are supposed to be sent to our consultant and both of us didn't change any information on the online status.
I am wondering if the CIC can change the contact info on behalf of us without notifying us?

One is addressed to my husband saying he's eligible to
As a sponsor but the one addressed to me is a request to do my medical.
I've done my medical which expired in June. It didn't say it expired it just says they are at the stage where it's needed.
No aip for me

Jolly1 i think its Aip, medical is always requested for second stage.

First Stage is approval for sponsor, so yes its AIP. Congrats!!! CIC Is moving

It may be as close to AIP as you are going to get. Medical checks are usually done in the 2nd stage after AIP. But it won't give you ability to apply for OHIP until you get AIP notice. I just hope you will get AIP email despite your husband getting sponsor qualification. Usually when sponsor gets the email of qualification, the applicant gets an AIP soon after.

I think the email to your husband is AIP.

Your medical has been expired from June
because it's valid for one year.

Get a medical appointment ASAP
so that your 2 stage would start.

You can update my timeline...
I received the landing letter from Ottawa office. I will be landing next Wednesday (18th of September).
They only ask me to bring passport, two photos, and my sponsor.

In total it will be 14 months for me!! I wish luck to everyone still waiting!

The husband email is not an AIP. It is not addressed to the applicant. So ontario service will not accept the email as AIP for applicant to qualify for OHIP.

These days people who applied at the end of Oct in 2012 receive AIP.

Do I need to worry about documents request at this point?

I would feel super frustrated if I'm requested documents right before my AIP.

Got DM july 12 and the letter for landing was dated aug 23 so about 5-6 weeks

I applied for my OWP as well. I sent it late but I already did.
But I'll definitely give them a call!
