Hello everyone,

I just wanted to add that I have received a letter from CIC today regarding my interview date. It will be on 3rd July. It is almost 3 months.

I received the letter last Monday and mine was July 18th, other cities are a LOT faster.

Yeh so true, most DM are of july, august and few of september applicants. I hope we people also get some good news soon.

I'm a February applicant and I got my DM April 5th last Friday

To tell you the truth I have never seen interview after AIP, unless its a landing interview. You'll soon be there. What baffles me is that they started background check on me which is a second stage process, but I'm yet to receive AIP

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to add that I have received a letter from CIC today regarding my interview date. It will be on 3rd July. It is almost 3 months.

It appears that the Calgary CIC office has a long lead time between DM and Landing Date. It is possible that they may be short-staffed there, otherwise I don't see any reason for the long lead time.

So far there has been DMs given out everyday for the last few days. I wonder who will get DM today. Kennysteward must be getting excited as his landing date is tomorrow according to timesheet.

My application was received on November 28th 2012, but I did not receive any emails saying that I was approved to sponsor my husband. I only received the email that the application was received is this right or should i have heard something else by now.

I'm in the same situation, I received an email that my application was received on November 22nd, and since then nothing, in the past month many people have received the DM but nobody AIP

JZ, my guy was out of status for almost 3 years and he has worked pretty steady since he first arrived in canada, we even put this down in our application and we got AIP just fine, he gets a "cash" cheque every week. Our consultant told us if hes working just be honest about it as "CIC knows everybody has a job".....quote unquote.

Hello Everyone!

I am praying for every one that every one will receive their AIP and DM soon.

Does any one have experience with immigration backlog reduction office (Vancouver). My file got transferred to Vancouver in March. I did not receive AIP ; however e-case says medical have been received.

I have been asked to leave; pray for me that I get Stay order soon.

Hello Everyone! I am new here.
So happy to find you all guys, thank you for sharing your experience.
Here is my timeline:
Application received: July 11, 2012 Vegreville
Start processing: Oct.31, 2012
AIP: Jan.20, 2013.
Applied for OWP Mar.20, 2013.

Didn`t here anything after, everytime I call cic agents I get the same answer 8-9 months for the 2 stage but it seems like it`s been much shorter for some people here.
We can only hope and wait though it`s stressful and painful. Good luck everyone!

I see feb applicants hav started getting DM.....i m jan 2012 applicant ,wonder when will i get the good news .....fingers crossed ..

you know what? I just checked ecas is showing that DM has been made and local office will contact me...
GOD! what does that mean? why I didn't receive an email ? They just called me 2 days ago about my address they were not sure which address is correct because 2 months ago we moved to another appartment....
I'll die...
