I think you letter is fine,use expresspost so u can track it.

FYI for anyone sending papers to CIC- UPS is less expensive than Express Post and will get there faster

No, sorry for the misleading answer.
It took me 2 months for the TTN number and another 2 months to start receiving the Child Benefits.
You can only apply for Child Benefit after you received the TTN and also you will need to send your World Income attached with your Child BEnefit Application.

I am so sorry I didnt use UPS. Canada Post is so freaking slow. I just posted the package and they said it wont reach Vegreville until Thursday or Friday. What kind of standard express service is this? However, I got a tracking number. I hope it will be alright.

wow,that's too slow! what province are you? i sent mine on wednesday at 12pm and when i track it last night,it says CPC-V received it yesterday at 7:30 am. i picked the next day service and it's 12bucks.

I am in Ontario. It could get there by Monday but I wasnt going to pay canada post 45 bucks to get there

you bet that small seems like you are very sure it will happen on Wednesday. By the way, our AIP day is coming up shortly. Looking at the processing time on cic.gc.ca they are at applications submitted on September 28, 2012. I am biting my nails

I just called CIC and ask about where to send my Right of Permanent Resident Fee receipt and they said it should be sent to Vegreville since they are the one processing my papers. And I also asked if how is my application going, they said, they are just waiting for my background checks results, which is I have no Idea with. Does anyone know how long that will take?

We have almost the same timeline. My Aip was received on December 5th,2012 as well. Also waiting for stage 2.
I also paid the Right of Permanent Resident Fee on January 2013 but I didnt send them a receipt copy. I did paid it online and thought they would be able to check that it was paid. Did you paid it on line? Should I send a copy anyway?

There's no way cic can know that you have paid their fees if u didn't mail them proof of payment. They need to scant the proof of payment receipt as u can see there's a barcode on it. So I'd recommend you mailing it off
