Congratulations!

Advise them you have done the medicals previously and provide them with a copy of the IMM 1017 (if you have one) or advise them of your e-identification number if you went to an e-medical doctor.

thanks CG... although I have a copy of the medical form, I have the wrong form since I originally thought I would apply outside of Canada... so I did my medical on the wrong form... The Doctor then told me not to send the medical form with my app, since they might throw it out as it is the wrong form, so what I did instead was to write a letter saying I did it with Dr. so and so on Jul 4, 2012 and that it was sent to Ottawa instead of Vegreville... so I guess they need to track it down.

any thoughts?

AIP Feb 24!!!! only 160 Days! WOOT!!!
But then they asked me to submit my medical... ouch... I did, So did it get lost?
Should I bother tracking it down or should I just go redo my meds and have it resubmitted...

I'll do my OWP now...

keep your hopes up everyone!

Does anyone who DID NOT submit their OWP application with their PR application but only applied for it after AIP have an indication on how long it takes to process an OWP?

Hello, just wondering if anyone else who is applying for the OWP is having trouble opening the form on CIC website, i have tried on 3 different computers in my home and on my phone and every time it tells me to download the latest software from adobe (I already have, I have also uninstalled and reinstalled it!) the form is IMM 5710 just wondering if im a technical moron or if anyone else is having the same problem.... I really want to get this form in the mail asap. oh and will CIC mail me out a form if I cannot get it open?

I tried to download the PDF, it asked me to update Adobe...I did, it still didn't work. Hmm...maybe try calling the 1-888-242-2100 and ask if they'll email you a copy of the form, they must be having tech. difficulties?!?!

LOL I know!

I live in Quebec and it was so confusing, I got exactly the same letter and they asked for my CSQ (certificate de selection du quebec) and now that I sent it I got again the same email instead of mentioning the CSQ part it said that my OWP was approved ... I asked on the QC forum and apparently Im not the only one who got the same email 2 times ... :(

But anyway! I guess it is the official one lol :) Tnx guys!!

@Rusty I was asking your input. If my file was going to be transferred to the local office, do you think it would have been transferred already? Today makes 4 months

Hi guys,

When I call CIC, it says they are unable to transfer call to an agent, as they are experiencing high volume of phone calls. has anyone having the same problem?

And anyone with paper application of OWP, received OWP recently?

I had that problem last week. Tried maybe 6 times in a row and couldn't get through. Tried again a few hours later, and reached an agent after a ten-minute wait.

We didn't send ours in with the app (bad advice from lawyer - many regrets). We got our AIP in January and we just sent our paper app for OWP in. According to Canada Post tracking they will receive it today! CIC website is saying 73 days for processing, so we're counting down the days now.
