RR VDB, you are the best. You just made my weekend. I sent my wife's OWP online on January 15th. I am now hopeful that she will have her OWP in hand in a couple of weeks.

You're welcome! I was getting very worried reading the posts the last few days but thought I would stick it out as we were so close to the end anyway and I guess it paid off for us! Hoping the same goes for you and all others on this forum who are questioning their online OWP application.

Yes we sent in medicals for him and his girls, and police checks, but no owp gonna get pe that off this week, didn't realize it was supposed to go with the application

how come whenever i check my ecas it only shows application recieved... its almost 4 months and no update yet?

They've had ours for 9 months and it still says "We received your application on May 22, 2012. ".
I don't think you can rely on what ecas says. :'(

I think it all depends wether the agent that works with your file updates ecas or not.
Some do, some don't. Unfortunately, we fell on agent that does not. :'(

I had a medical at the end of November, Doc sent it on 12th Dec and they've now been recieved as of Wed last week. Hope that helps anybody waiting for results and time scales.

hoefully they started processing our files tho.. coz when i called cic they just said application recieved... they just check ecas.. i mean... they shouldcatleast have given me more info?

They are very secretive with their information, and quite frankly I find it upsetting. Every time I called, the agent made me feel like she did not really want to talk to me; she just wanted me to go away.

Can I please ask everyone to not try to make any changes to the spreadsheet. It is messed up again and I will try to fix it later today. I believe the biggest problem is trying to update it with a tablet or Ipad. Please do not attempt to update the spreadsheet with these devices, ask for help. I will let you know when it is corrected.

Hello thatgirl123 Where is your husband from. Mine is from St. Vincent and we filed Dec. 12. What is your timeline? I do hope filing at the end of the year is not a bad thing.

My hubby is from Jamaica, we filed at the end of November. You and I will also be in the same general time frame!
